Terms of Service
Concord is a members' club, not a mass-market app, and these terms reflect that. Plain language, no hidden clauses — here's what joining means for you and for us.
1. Who can join
You must be legally an adult, genuinely looking to date, and willing to complete our application. Membership is by approval, not signup — we review every application to keep Concord a place people can trust.
2. Membership rules
One account per person. The information on your profile — who you are, what you do, what you're looking for — needs to be accurate. Misrepresenting yourself undermines the trust the whole membership depends on, and is grounds for removal.
3. What Concord does
We introduce you to a small number of curated, verified members, based on values, lifestyle, and compatibility signals. We do not guarantee chemistry, a relationship, or any particular outcome — only that every introduction was made thoughtfully, not algorithmically maximized for engagement.
4. Membership status
Concord is currently free to join and operates as a waiting list while we build the first version. There is no paid tier. If that ever changes, these terms will be updated first and members will be notified in advance.
5. Prohibited behavior
Harassment, threats, or abusive behavior toward another member. Fake profiles, impersonation, or misrepresenting who you are. Sharing another member's profile, messages, or personal information outside Concord.
6. Account termination
We can suspend or remove any member who violates these terms or our community standards, with or without notice, to protect the people who use Concord in good faith.
7. Limitation of liability
Concord facilitates introductions; what happens between members is between them. We aren't liable for the conduct of other members, or for outcomes — good or bad — of any introduction made through the platform.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Ireland.
