Privacy Policy
Concord asks for more trust than most apps — because we ask for more sensitive information. This page explains exactly what we collect, why, and the lines we won't cross. If anything here feels unclear, write to us.
1. What we collect
To make introductions worth your time, we collect more than a photo and a bio. Specifically:
- Contact & account details — your email, and anything you add to your profile: photo, bio, values, location, profession.
- Identity verification — phone, LinkedIn, or a government ID, used once to confirm you're a real, single person.
- Financial stability verification — confirmed through a secure third-party partner. We receive a yes/no signal, never your statements or account numbers.
- Health & lifestyle signals — what you tell us about habits and wellbeing, used only to improve who we introduce you to.
2. What we never do
Some promises are worth stating plainly:
- We never sell your data, to advertisers or anyone else.
- We never expose your financial or health details publicly, to matches or anyone browsing the app.
- We never show sensitive data beyond a general compatibility tag — "values aligned," not a number, a score, or a statement.
3. How verification data is stored
Identity, financial, and health verifications are encrypted at rest and processed by us or our vetted partners solely to power matching. Once verified, the result becomes a tag on your profile — the underlying detail is never displayed, beyond what's strictly needed to keep the verification current.
4. Your rights
Your data is yours. At any time, you can:
- Delete your account and everything tied to it, permanently.
- Export a copy of your profile and verification history.
- Correct anything inaccurate, from your profile settings.
5. Cookies
We use the minimum cookies needed to keep you logged in and remember your preferences. No advertising cookies, no third-party ad trackers, no cross-site profiling.
